Not sure where to begin? This is the path.

Whether you're starting from zero or you're technically solid but stuck, the path is the same system, applied in order. Find where you fit below.

Where are you right now?

Three short options, each linking down the page to the right starting point:

  • "I'm new, or my basics feel shaky" → Start with Drawing Fundamentals

  • "I know the basics but my paintings feel tight/forced" → Start with Deconstruction Lab

  • "I'm technically good but stuck/stiff" → Start with Deconstruction Lab (same entry point — the system is what unsticks you, not more technique)

The Progressions Path

Numbered list, one card per course, in order:

1. Drawing Fundamentals (if needed) Shapes, proportion, perspective. Skip this if your basics are solid.

2. Deconstruction Lab The system itself: construct → deconstruct → understand why → speed → loosen. Taught through drawing.

3. Design & Composition Where things go and why it matters before you ever pick up paint.

4. Value & Color Value trumps color. Get this right and the painting works — even before color enters.

5. Watercolor Progressions (flagship/capstone) The full system applied to watercolor — washes, wet-in-wet, and the medium's quirks, taught through the Progressions lens.

Why not just jump to watercolor?

Because finished art is a trap. Skipping the floor is exactly how most artists plateau. This order builds the floor first — so when you loosen up later, there's something underneath holding it together.
